The Mackinnon Project's consultancy team provides practical farm management advice. This takes a 'whole farm' multidisciplinary approach to sheep and beef cattle production in south-eastern Australia.

We are a self-funded group that has been working within The University of Melbourne's Faculty of Veterinary Science at Werribee since 1983.

Our staff , which includes Veterinarians, Agricultural Scientists and support staff, are well-qualified to provide practical advice and evaluation for farmers and industry professionals working in the sheep and beef cattle industries.
